- Those who want to borrow or lend books should be paid members of the Amateur Astronomers Association also apart from being members of this list.
- It can be found out if the request is from a member of AAAD or not by checking against the list of email addresses of AAAD members, the list will be regularly updated. (The list will be soon available in the files section and a notification will be given)
- Books can be added the to the e-library by choosing the add record option in the database.
The Format:
- Name of the Book
- Author
- Brief description about book
- Your mail id
- Only Moderators will have the right to edit/delete the records so a request to perform edit/delete operations on the records should be sent to us with the information.
- You can directly approach the book owner and send him/her request regarding the book thru mail with a copy to

- Book owners are advised to decline any request where a carbon copy has not been sent to the above address
(cb@sky4us.com) Please note that the books will be exchanged on the basis of understanding between the borrower and the lender. The book owner can decline any request if they feel they have a reason.
- The following is the minimum recommended information in a request:
- Book Name
- Time period (in number of days)
- When and where you can collect (preferably planetarium on sundays)
- To get access to this facility the list members or members of AAAD should have an yahoo mail id so that they can log in the site at groups.yahoo.com
Remember that if you have subscribed to the list with a mail id other than Yahoo, then you can get the mails but to have access to other features in this group (which are too many) you have to have an yahoo mail id.
- Queries should be sent to cb@sky4us.com .. A list of FAQ's will also be provided shortly.
- The list owner and moderator wont be responsible for any dispute among the borrower and the lender. They will be dealing directly. The list moderator will only be facilitators.
